Spiritual sages have always known that solutions to life’s problems come into view when the seeker can see their experience from a specific vantage point. A neutral place without judgment, it is an inside out process. Einstein believed that everybody not only acts under external compulsion but also in accordance with some inner necessity. The good news is, this inner purpose can be known!

It seems we do not get to choose if we suffer in life but how. It was this conclusion that eventually led to my spiritual and contemporary understanding of suffering. There are internal resources available to us when in crisis. We can access them, even if distracted by pain. The question is what prevents us from using this inner reservoir? Can we learn to use it all the time?
This website demonstrates that we are at the mercy of unconscious motivations during life challenges. Also, that this inner condition interferes with knowing how to find resolve. These qualities, if consciously aligned with the universe, can heal us. Out of balance and unconscious, we bargain and struggle with ourselves in vain. Surprisingly, there are more of us asleep than awake about this inner struggle. The process offered here can change that!
There is an ethical core that is unique to every human being. It offers clues about our direction and spiritual growth. More importantly, it is a profound expression of our internal psychic state. In other words, there is a collective experience unique to suffering that has a direct correlation with our spiritual journey. Innerscape reveals this as an interaction between the ego and human spirit. It teaches that knowing your true nature offers a reference point for defining this inner reality. The problem then becomes not how to know your inner world, but how to learn from it. This author has found an instructive way to make that leap. Innerscape, and the process within, offers a way to enter this dimension through the subtle communication of imagery.
In spiritual work, it is common for the soul to speak to the personality through images. These images offer context for something real to come into awareness that would have otherwise remained unknown or confusing. Rather than wait to be shocked awake by trauma, seekers here can choose to look within voluntarily. The process becomes an effective way to see a connection between one’s inner and outer worlds.
If while walking down the road of life, you come on a bully that stands between you and everything that matters in the world what would you do? ...
Let your first answer be what naturally comes to mind then write it down. Now, imagine this did not work. Your heart’s wish is still on the other side of this bully. What would you do now? Record your response like before. Take a deep breath. Give yourself some time to sit with your answer. As determined as you may feel about what is happening, your second choice did not work either. Everything that is important in your life remains trapped by this individual. Your first two responses did not get you any closer to what you hold dear. What would you do now?
If one gives truthful answers to these questions, and not socially approved or expected responses, something special happens. Many have described it as an internal sense of familiarity. Innerscape teaches why this sensation is important to listen to. In truth, life problems that stand fast and in front of us, have unlimited possibilities. It may not seem like it at the time because we misinterpret this familiar feeling. If a perceived lack of choice feels like lost freedom, then understanding this inner sensation is the first step to getting it back. Without understanding, we will face and retreat from this bully to the point of exhaustion. This is someone who believes they can wear the bully down.
Innerscape invites you to email us your responses, as well as take the exercise within. We will offer a brief interpretation for your participation, and deeper guidance if you choose. You are to be congratulated for examining your inner life.
